Simon Brooke – Press journalist and Media trainer

Simon Brooke photo Simon writes regularly for The Times, The Financial Times, The Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Express and Business Life magazine on a variety of subjects.

He began his early career in Public Relations. He spent two years as a Public Relations Officer for WH Smith and then moved into politics, joining the communications team for the George Bush Presidential campaign.

In 1989 Simon became Head of Broadcasting for the Conservative Central Office; this involved fielding ministers and Party Chairman for interviews on television and radio along with media training for prominent politicians. In 1992 he managed a team of 15 broadcasting officers during the General Election.

Simon’s range of subjects covered for major papers is vast, as a non-specialist journalist he is an ideal media trainer as this reflects the journalistic style in today’s media world. He has honed his skills on business, management, finance, politics, lifestyle, environment, education and modern technology.

He is the author of two books.
