Jilly Carter – Presentation and Broadcast media trainer

Jilly Carter has eighteen years of experience in Radio and Television broadcasting, both in the UK and Continental Europe. After nine years as a news reporter and presenter in local television, she went on to work for BBC Breakfast News and ITN’s Into the Night, as well as Reuters Television and BBC Radio Four. She has hosted many live corporate events for international companies, including Shell, KPN Dutch Telecom and Renault. She is a regular facilitator and chairperson at international press events.

Jilly has worked for most of the major pharmaceutical companies in her role as consultant on communications strategy. They include GSK, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, Merck and Roche, and health-related organisations such as the NHS and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

She is regularly called upon to chair press briefings which involve raising awareness of various medical conditions. As well as providing her broadcast expertise, Jilly regularly coaches executives in presentation training and message development.
