How long do the courses last?
That can vary but generally speaking, a full day would start at 9.30 a.m and finish at 5.30 p.m whilst half a day would begin at 1.00 p.m and finish at 5.30 p.m.
How many delegates can you accommodate on a full or half day course?
Normally a full day would suit up to six delegates, half a day can accommodate up to three delegates. Please note that press workshops or press only courses can accommodate a larger group.
Can you do the training at the client’s premises?
Yes, we would bring all the necessary equipment with us. All you need to provide is a meeting room and refreshments.
How much would it cost?
All our courses are designed to specifically suit your needs so it would depend on the type of programme you chose. A basic introduction to the print media can cost as little as £165.00 + VAT per delegate (based on six delegates taking part in a half day course). Please call us for a direct quote.
Are you able to deal with a mixed ability group?
Yes, in consultation with you we can design the course so that those who need to be challenged will be properly stretched whilst those with little or no experience can develop their skills and grow in confidence throughout the day.
Are Press Officers or PR’s allowed to sit in and observe?
Of course, we always welcome personnel from the press/communications department. In fact their input can be invaluable on the day and they are able to see at first hand how the delegates are progressing.
Are you able to provide short one to one coaching sessions in advance of a planned interview?
We can deliver specific coaching based on your brief to prepare for a particular media event, often at short notice.
What happens if I have to cancel the course?
Whilst we appreciate that nobody likes to pay something for nothing, all our trainers are working journalists and may have turned down other work in order to run your course; so in some cases we may charge a cancellation fee. However, we try to avoid this whenever possible, especially if the client is able to reschedule the date. In such an event the client would need to refer to our terms conditions to work out what the cancellation fee would be.
