Dominic Green is an accomplished journalist and broadcaster. Having started out at the BBC, he won an award as the BBC’s Young Journalist of the Year, beginning his career in local radio, at BBC Radio Bristol. From there, Dominic moved to the GWR Radio Group and became a journalist in ITV newsrooms in the West of England (HTV West) and on the South Coast (TVS/Meridian).
His success as a reporter took him to London and to Sky News, where he joined Sky's acclaimed Business Unit with Michael Wilson and worked at Sky News’ Political Unit in Westminster, which included Sky's General Election coverage with Sir David Frost.
GMTV launched with Dominic as part of its line up, reporting on events both at home and abroad. His acclaimed coverage of the OJ Simpson trial from LA and the death of the Princess of Wales was picked up by news bulletins around the world and lead, in 1999, to ITV Network Centre giving Dominic his own factual programme each weekday which garnered 5 million viewers daily on ITV1.
Since then, Dominic has continued his work as both a reporter and producer, working mainly for GMTV, the BBC, News 24 and Sky. In the corporate field, Dominic can be seen regularly hosting an international business programme for the financial sector, via Global Business Television and is a Presenter for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister’s new inter-Government department television service, eGovernment TV. His continued experience as a regular freelancer in the television industry means Dominic is greatly in demand as a trainer in media skills.
