Clare Catford – Broadcast Journalist

Clare Catford has a sound reputation as a rigorous and respected consumer journalist and has worked in the industry for more than twenty years. Although she originally cut her teeth in local radio she has also worked extensively for the following programmes: BBC Breakfast news, BBC News South East (consumer reporter), Channel 5 Breakfast News (consumer presenter), Channel Four News and GMTV (senior producer and reporter).

She has regularly presented shows for Radio 4’s You and Yours, Radio Five Live and LBC. Clare currently presents the morning show from 0700 until 1000 on Radio Berkshire.

Clare is an accomplished and respected writer. Credits include script editor for ITV’s Wish You Were Here and feature writer for The Times and The Telegraph. She has been commissioned by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister to produce a series of reports on e-government. Currently she is writing a book on the link between addiction and faith.
