MT Media Training is a collaboration between Marilyn Tyler (founder and Director) and a network of current broadcast and press journalists. Together they provide tailor made media training courses at down to earth prices.

MT Media Training doesn’t have excessive overheads ,doesn’t feel the need to advertise or waste paper by producing unnecessary glossy brochures; they focus on their core values – which are to deliver first class training. Because of the above we are able to keep our costs down and clients reap the benefits. The fee you pay is split between the trainers – there are no hidden extras. We don’t charge for access to our advisory service or for a copy of your interviews on DVD. Nor we do we charge travel expenses (unless you are based overseas or outside the M25).

There’s a plethora of other training companies out there – all offering very similar formats. What makes us different? Well, we mainly use a selection of working journalists (not people who used to work at the BBC twenty years ago and just want to talk about the ‘good old days’).

We recognise that just because you’ve spent years working in the media doesn’t instantly make you a worthy tutor/coach. Our trainers have been doing both for years and therefore are able to combine their experience in the current media world with their teaching expertise.
